Starting from a strong academic background in Semiotics, Sociolinguistics and Visual Studies, central to her artistic research becomes the photographic “discourse” as dialogue and its order, in the Foucaultian sense of “The order of discourse” aimed at the search for a possible breaking with such power through the concept of memory.

From this linguistic deconstruction of the image, the artist comes to question the photographic series according to an artistic practice in which the uses of different narrative levels and different materials, as well as different techniques, are aimed at reconstructing a sort of scenic theater in which time becomes a circular connection.

Particularly linked to the concept of cast as matrix and origin, she investigates photography as an ambivalent mechanism between trace, form and its representation and at the same time as a vernacular medium full of meanings and common and intimate uses.

Like a material object that condenses in itself the latency of the trace and the sense of touch through the memory of the image.

After her academic studies in linguistics, semiology and intersemiotic translation, he trained in photography at the SRF in Rome, building a practice that intersects the use of the medium with the manipulation of archive images, everyday objects, hermetic and Orphic poetry, audio elements and art printing and engraving. In 2014 he published the work L’unghia del leone with the publishing house Witty Books of Turin, starting from that moment a production that flows, both in the form of the book and in the exhibition, in the restitution of small ‘theaters of memory’ in which time represents an event and photography an emotional and intimate state.
